#ThornyThursday š my mom gave me a crown of thornsā¦ when adding it to my oasis, so many different kinds of Crown of Thorns came upā¦ & mine didnāt come with a sprecific name, so Iām not sure if itās the right ID (Crown Of Thorns āBicolorā). (Photo 4)
Anyways I repotted her, & hopefully she will like it outsideā¦ Iām wondering if it is similar to my African Milk Bush, & will prefer morning sun, & afternoon shade. I noticed my AMB (African milk bush) started yellowing leaves if left in full sun all day, like my other succulents. It seems to prefer morning sun, with afternoon shade during the hotter hours of the day. This is my first crown of thorns, so idk if they will be similar in that way, but any care advice would be greatly appreciated!

My Varigated Melon cactus, (Photos 1-3) has the teensiest CUTEST FLOWERR ever starting to formā¦ I know she is small, you may even have to squint to be able to tell itās a flowerā¦ but it is! Iām so happy, this is one of favorite plants/cactus. I havenāt had her very long either, Iām telling you guys the fertilizer I use for my #Succulents has been impressing me this year! So many new blooms on varieties that havenāt bloomed for me before, & itās usually after repotting with new soil with added in slow release granular succulent fertilizer. I get it from Home Depot & it truly does work for a great price & the bottle will last you a while, depending on how often you repot & the size of the planter. I hope you guys enjoy the cactus updates, & everyone is having a great Thursdayā¦ itās almost the weekend, amirite! š

@RefinedSandwort I will take a picture in the morning, but I think itās called dynamite succulent fertilizer. They carry it at Loweās, and Home Depot ! Itās 4.6 stars! It really does work just use sparingly or follow measurements on backā¦ Iāve never used to much of this on my succulents however I have burnt other plants over doing in on fertilizer so be careful.
