One more to go 😮‍💨
I know normally people mount staghorn ferns, but I kinda like them in a well-draining medium; it’s easier for me. 🥰
Is that tall skinny dude a type of African milk bush? Mine keep loosing old leaves. Was wondering if that's normal after seeing your plant... are they different varieties?
I do have two African milk trees, and from mine I’ve given my family four now. The first one was the baby I just gave to my brother; the other is an old picture. I don’t have a good current. I’m thinking you were probably looking at the Madagascar Ocotillo or African Ocotillo. What’s going on with your African? Maybe I can help? They really like hot and sunny. They generally turn pink to dark red like this when they get enough sunlight. Unless it’s the variegated variety, which then has like green almost strips with black strips. I have that in the back of my greenhouse; it’s smaller than my larger one. But tell me what’s going on with yours? Looking at the leaves, it’s getting a good amount of water, then wouldn’t be holding like that if they weren’t. How much direct light or how much really bright lights is it getting?
