Worked all day yesterday on my plants. I was not planning on doing a garden vegetable; I usually just help my mom do hers. But this year we have my brother and my sister plus their families back living in the area. So we needed to step up the veggies this year. Iβve NEVER grown broccoli, artichokes, or carrots from seeds, but what the Hades! I got the seeds; letβs see what we can do. Finding somewhere I can plant my tomatoes without affecting my berries. π€ So I settled on a kinda forgotten part of my backyard. Itβs right between an old cinder block 𧱠shed and the greenhouse. I figured my vents open to the veggies this way so it makes them get a little more humidity as well as it stays warm back there year-round and blocks them from heavy winds. Hopefully, my dogs donβt get in them. π€π€ #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #TheThread #TheWateringHole #GrowLights #NewPlantMom #PetsAndPlants #PlantCorner #BeforeAndAfter #PestControl #PlantShelfie #RarePlants #PlantID #OutdoorGrowing
The second-to-last photo, Iβm still trying to figure out where that mystery plant came from. π€£ The peach π is even fuller today. Itβs only been planted a few days now, but so far, so good. π€I have to put spiky plants around my trees or something to enclose them, or the dogs think itβs fair game to chew it and dig it up and plant tug-of-war. I get stressed when they do it. π€¦ββοΈ My poor plants. I completely forgot to get a photo of the veggie garden. Iβll do it later when I go to pot a few plants to give to my neighbors. I absolutely love them. They are from the Middle East, and we share tea and spices. They share fresh eggs, and she makes the best food! So we just love them. π₯°
