Soooo I got this #Syngonium Maria Allusion not long ago, from the Lowe’s clearance rack, and ugh! I’m so glad I did. It took a few weeks to start really perking up and I noticed a slight dusty pink/raspberry red tint to some of the leaves and thought, “ooh, that’s pretty,” but I just noticed tonight while doing a little dusting and rearranging that several leaves are now fully a deep, rich berry reddish pink color, and I’m in love 😍 This is why I adore Syngoniums. @SavvyRedash lol! He is a gray tree frog, which are Indigenous to the eastern US. They can look green depending on their environment and other factors, and he definitely looks different colors in different levels of light! He also has a concentrated area of green under his back legs, which I find interesting. Australia definitely has much more vibrant animals from what I’ve seen! @LittleSongbird I don’t know for sure, but I have them directly under one of those LED grow lights that is like a sheet of metal with a bunch of tiny lights on it. Idk what they are called lol! They emit no heat so the light is only like an inch from the top of the plant, that’s the only thing I can think of to account for these lovely leaves! I can post a link to the lights if you are interested!
@LittleSongbird hey! I just noticed that it’s not the light I had this under—it’s the new leaves opening that are pink, and they gradually fade. Just wanted to let you know in case you were still wondering!
@BestSulluspurge lol I agree!! I just went a little crazy in the sale section of the Mountain Crest Gardens website 🤣 but the cheaper they are, the more we can get! Lol
