Finding light for vanilla orchid in your home
vanilla orchid can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of vanilla orchid in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize vanilla orchid
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your vanilla orchid after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Cold vanilla orchid on arrival I got 8 cuttings, each with two nodes. They arrived in less than ideal condition, a few missing leaves and all cold to the touch. I immediately put them in a heated greenhouse which stays at about 80% humidity and 80°F. Any tips to get the best survival rate?

#OrchidLovers I’m not sure on the ID being correct on this plant but was told it blooms once a year on foliage and only in a house with love 🤔 I’m currently working on trying to bring it back to the full leaves that form. ID would help me immensely .
