UPDATE: TLDR: Greg giveaway update, talking about my life currently like moving back into my house and getting a job soon. Just watered and cleaned up my tradescantia plant. I had to clean up a lot of dead leaves. A lot of my plants are dying because I’m currently living somewhere else for a little bit. I come back every so often and take care of my plants and bugs. But, yeah, unfortunately it’s taken a huge toll on my plants. I’m also all out of repotting supplies which sucks because spring is pretty much here. I just don’t have the money right now as I am trying to find a job. Things are getting better though. I’m gonna be moving back into my house in a little while. So that’s good 🙂 also, a little update about the Greg giveaway: I realized that I’m not the right person for the Greg gift card for the Greg plant shop so I asked the Greg team if I could switch it out for a box of goodies instead and they are so wonderful. They said they would send me a box. So excited! The Greg team truly are an awesome bunch. 💝 (ignore my dirty glass in the photos I know I gotta clean it. Also, I have no idea why the photos are sideways. Sorry about that.) #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #PlantLove #TropicalPlants

Wanted to do an appreciation post for some of my #Tradescantia , in particular some of my #Zebrina varieties! There are 22 different varieties of Tradescantia zebrina, the most commonly sold being Tradescantia Zebrina 'Violet Hill'. I have 14 in my collection. Here are five others you may not have heard of but are certainly among my favorites: 1. #TradescantiaZebrina 'Multicolor Discolor' 2. Tradescantia zebrina 'Purpusii' 3. Tradescantia zebrina 'Evanesce' 4. Tradescantia zebrina 'Pink Paradise' 5. Tradescantia zebrina 'Happilee' All my zebrinas are kept under full-spectrum grow lights for 8-10 hours a day, so this is what these varieties look like in "intense light" conditions. They'll look very different in lower or less-intense light (and become harder to distinguish from each other). Tradescantia are known for being very easy plants to care for and propagate. Most are very fast growers. I never propagate in water—cuttings go directly into soil. When they outgrow their pot, I just cut the whole plant down to the soil and stick the cuttings in a new, bigger pot. For soil, I use cactus soil with perlite and fine-grade orchid bark mixed in. Do you have any zebrina varieties in your collection? Or other Tradescantia? #TradescantiaTroupe #HappyPlants #GrowLights #PlantAddict #brunchataudreys #TheThread #TheWateringHole

What kind of care does this baby need? This is my first Tradescantina and I'm not sure the kind of care it needs. I realized the leaves were getting like this after keeping it by the window with indirect sun. #hangingplants #planthelp #greggang

My First Tradescantia Nanouk Hello guys! Today, I picked up my First Trandescantia Nanouk (or Wandering Dude) plant, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for caring for her. When I got her, she had a few brown spots and marks, so I was wondering what I could do to prevent any further browning and damage to her leaves. I read that Tradescantia plants have sensitive leaves. Thank you in advance!
