Why is My elephant bush is losing a few leaves every couple of days
-
Any way to save it?! I was given this slightly out-of-shape kalanchoe to try and rescue, and it's just got worse. I worried I'd overwatered it so I stopped for a few weeks, but then it got even worse so I tried watering it again. Is there anything I can try at this point? Cutting all the stems down maybe? Or is it done for? Kalanchoe do not like my house!! It's not the first I've lost. #kalanchoe

Is my elephant bush dead/going to die? Iāve recently moved out of my parentsā house and initially Iāve left my plants at home while we get settled and I need to repot a few plants, which I couldnāt do in the new place. So I asked my mum to look after my plants, and she has a few of her own so sheās not a complete novice. However, life has been a bit hectic and when I came home for Christmas she admitted sheād lost track and couldnāt remember when she last watered all the plants, including mine. Most of them seem okay, but a few are looking pretty sad. One of the worst is my elephant bush: itās had quite fragile leaves for a while that fall of easily, but now all the leaves have shriveled and/or fallen off, and a lot of the branches look shriveled as well. Some of them still look normal ish, and there are some bits of green on a couple of the ends where new growth usually comes. But Iām not sure if itās beyond saving now or if thereās anywhere I could propagate a new plant from. #ElephantBush

any tips on how to help this plant thrive? Iāve had this plant for over a year and itās so sad :-( I usually keep something in the pot to help this middle one stay upright. I have it in a succulent mix with some added perlite and I was watering every 2 weeks during the summer but Iām watering less now. Itās currently in a south west facing window #ElephantBush #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #help

Repotting I am needing to re pot this into a terracotta pot. I am curious, should I leave this mix all together in a large pot, or should I repot separately? And what would be a good soil to use for this? First time caring for this type. Thanks!

All the leaves fell off. It was on a table next to a heat vent, but in a porous pot. We moved him to different spot. Whyād the leaves fall off? Any insight would be appreciated #ElephantBush
