How to fertilize Philodenron Mexicanum
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Philodenron Mexicanum after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I haven't seen another one of these ever. Are they uncommon? Difficult to grow? I've had this one for a short time. He was root bound so I went up a pot size and he exploded with growth! The leaves are humongous...I'll need to research how big he gets.

What kind of philodendron have I got here? I picked this one up for $4 on ckearance at Walmart! Of course it’s labeled “assorted foliage.” Greg thinks it’s a marble pothos. I appreciate any guidance!
