Finding light for Philodendron in your home
Philodendron can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Philodendron in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Philodendron
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Philodendron after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

⁉️ Has anyone seen this kind of variegation?! just recently, after i have moved my philodendron jerry horne (j.ho), and my philodendron atabapoense (bappie) into my spare, guest room, that ive turned into a makeshift "green house" room, with numerous grow lights, i noticed that the newest leaves on both of them are showing this interesting kind of variegation. what is this?! has anyone seen this before? is this normal, or a sign of something bad? please help! #philo #philodendron #philodendronatabapoense #philodendronjerryhorne #philodendronvariegation #variegatedplants #variegatedphilodendron #umwhat

#Philodendron Hello! Just got this little guy <2 weeks ago. Greg id’d as a Brasil variety but I don’t think that’s right. It seemed dry when I opened it from shipment so I watered it, per the instructions with it. Greg is recommending watering 3/4 cup every 6 days. I just watered it today on that schedule. It looks worse than it did a few days ago. I thought these were supposed to be hard to kill! 😬 If I put it by the window it gets a few hours of sunlight a day. I moved it onto my kitchen table last week to see if it was getting too much sun.

My plant came waterlogged. Is it salvageable? #Philodendron
-
Well, here it is! And the results are a little disappointing. My philodendron ring of fire was blooming and it took 20+days from growth of bloom to actual opening of the bloom. As for how it smells, it doesn’t have a smell, AT ALL. I’m a little upset about that. But it’s all good, still pretty. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantLove #FloweringPlants #julesplants

Spike Leaves leaves are turning brown. What do I need to do

Is she too dry? #Philodendron #PinkPrincessPhilodendron I got my plant just 2 weeks ago and she looked all perky and happy. Now her leaves are limp and droopy. Normally it’s a sign of overwatering, I think? I have been following Greg’s suggestion to water her every 9 days but I wonder if it enough? She is so dry that I can lift her from the pot. Also, even though PPP likes smaller pots, I keep wondering if the teeny-tiny pot is enough?

Help! Pinky Princess Pants is fading fast #pinkprincessphilodendron This pink princess philodendron is giving me some troubles. Her leaves are droopy and soggy looking. I didn't think I was over watering it, but maybe I am? Any suggestions would be great. I do notice a few little healthy baby leaves growing, so that at least gives me a bit of hope.
