About Philodendron 'Ring of Fire'
Philodendrons grow aerial roots that grip the bark of trees, allowing them to grow over 20 feet tall! Their leaves change shape as they climb and can grow larger than a dinner plate. Fossils show Philodendrons growing as far back as 30 million years ago when South America was still connected to Antarctica! ❄️

#Philodendron #PropagationStation my Ring of Fire started to go sideways (I didn’t have a support pole, she was fine and then she wasn’t), so I bundled her all up on a pole to take a look. My instinct (or what I want to do) is to cut and propagate into two plants. But I’ve never done this with this plant, so my question is, 1. Should I? 2. If so, where to cut and any advise on doing so?

My ring of fire stem twisted and is growing sideways. Should I leave it alone or should I cut off that stem and propagate it (AFTER the new leaf comes in/unfurls)? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PropagationStation #PlantAddict #

I'm I about to lose it? What's that substance behind the leaf on my J Cash -philodendron ring of fire? HELP!!! It has little round drops of sap, sticky, that look like water drops. Only the big mature leaves have it. He has grown so much and it will be devastating if anything is wrong with him. Need all the help I can get.

Okay… super excited for the new leaf forming, but what is going on with the curly one? It wasn’t curled at first, but it also wasn’t completely unfurling, and then it just did whatever this is. Any ideas? #Philodendron

Crystals? Today, I noticed that some of my Ring of Fire Philodendron leaves have these weird, slightly sticky crystal things on the bottom. The top of the leaves with them have spots as well. Google says they could be nectar or they could be pests. What are y'all's thoughts? He's been super happy, and I want to keep him that way. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #greggershelpinggreggers #philodendron #pests #help

Well, here it is! And the results are a little disappointing. My philodendron ring of fire was blooming and it took 20+days from growth of bloom to actual opening of the bloom. As for how it smells, it doesn’t have a smell, AT ALL. I’m a little upset about that. But it’s all good, still pretty. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantLove #FloweringPlants #julesplants
