About Pink Princess Philodendron
The Pink Princess Philodendron has developed a cult following in recent years 💕. Known for its famed pink leaves, mature specimens of this plant have sold for thousands of dollars. Philodendrons grow aerial roots that grip the bark of trees, allowing them to grow over 20 feet tall! Their leaves change shape as they climb and can grow larger than a dinner plate. Fossils show Philodendrons growing as far back as 30 million years ago when South America was still connected to Antarctica! ❄️

How to fertilize Pink Princess Philodendron
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pink Princess Philodendron after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Mealy bugs.. It will only let me put one plant but they were the same plant i got them yesterday and split them. Anyway i got Pwinsess and Pwince from Rona and every pink princess was infested with mealy bugs at there green house i managed to get the least infested, becausei reallyyyy wanted one! But im worried. I know plants like to be acclimated to the new environment before repotted and such but as soon as i got them home i gave them a bath with insecticide soap and changed there soil to get rid of the bugs. Did i do good or with they hate me and still be buggy...

This philodendron Pink Princess had grown and needed to be repotted. Today I noticed that when my kitten got in the house, he broke the top heavy limbs off the plant. How can I save the broken part by rooting and repotting. Beautiful plant hate to lose!! What do I do?

Should I repot this? I got this plant a few months ago and I swore it was going to die because of the condition it was in when it arrived. I kept watering it anyways and now it’s sprouting new little plants! 🌱 I’m new to taking care of plants so I was wondering if it would be best for me to try and separate these so they can have their own pots or if they’d be better off staying together in this pot. Any advice or tutorial suggestions are appreciated! #PinkPrincessPhilodendron

What can I do to bring more of her pink out in the leaves and over all give her a healthier look? #Philodendron

She arrived with cold damage even tho there was a heat pak enclosed, it was inside the outer pot that accompanied rhe plant, nowhere near the live plant where it was needed & couldve done some good!. I saved my Coco ;Monstera) from near death from the same so i will allow ger to recover on her own, simply watering & watching w/out touching her at all. Coco made a srunning recovery as i plan on same for Pinkie so i shall watch & post her recovery & progress during this fragile time. I just feel horrible that she needed to go thru it at all!!! I have a planr veing held for me (paid for) but wont allow her shipembt until she doesn't need to suffer as Coco & Pinkie have!!! My advice is this: if u live in a. Seasonal climate; do NOT order any plant shipped during inclimate weather. Idc if they claim cold protection (which we pay for) isnt as important to the shipper as to the receiver!!! Lets stop stressing and killing these poor plants who only live to please us and brighten our home and hearts!!!!. Ill keep u all updated!! 🫶 For Pinkie!!!

So I have a PPP propogate that I potted… Say that 5 times fast lol. Anyway, I had it propagating for about a month, and I really wanted to get it into a pot and under a grow light before it starts putting out more leaves (it seems like it wants to, I can feel it lol) to get more pink. So I used what I had on hand, it’s a 5 inch diameter pot with a mix of coco coir and a moisture control potting mix. The pot does have drainage, and I lined the bottom of the pot with pebbles to improve drainage and prevent the hole from being blocked (a problem I’ve had with this pot). Since I’ve potted it, I got some perlite, do you think it would be worth repotting it again with perlite in the soil mix, or should I just leave her be for a growing season? Or does it even matter where they like a moist soil? Roots and soils and substrates have been the hardest for me to grasp 😅 The leaves are still young and reddish, but zoom in she does have speckles lol. She’s a princess I promise hehe #HappyPlants #Philodendron #PinkPrincessPhilodendron #NewPlantMom #pottingadvice

Did I ruin my plant? One of the leaves was stuck so I thought I would try and help the plant out a little and accidentally snapped the end of the leaf off :( will it regrow from the same spot or did I just kill this leaf? #Philodendron

Lillith doesn’t even wait for new leaves to be established until she starts popping out more babies! She is a pro, I am working on misting these occasionally to ensure they don’t get stuck in the high heel formation 😂 #NewGrowth

If you love pink, you’ll love philo. Pink princess! They thrive in high humidity & I’ve found they also do well in leca. When given a pole, they’ll put off larger leaves. They do brown / not put out a lot of pink if in too bright of light.

Very beautiful low color Philodendron Pink Princess from American Plant Exchange (more light will give it more color they say). Best price available for a great plant. Shop around for the best plant for you! These babies don’t come cheap. And they prefer distilled water and high humidity. If you’re getting this Pink Princess do yourself and it a favor and get a distiller and a levoit humidifier. They’ll help you give her the proper care!
