About Pink Princess Philodendron
The Pink Princess Philodendron has developed a cult following in recent years 💕. Known for its famed pink leaves, mature specimens of this plant have sold for thousands of dollars. Philodendrons grow aerial roots that grip the bark of trees, allowing them to grow over 20 feet tall! Their leaves change shape as they climb and can grow larger than a dinner plate. Fossils show Philodendrons growing as far back as 30 million years ago when South America was still connected to Antarctica! ❄️

Finding light for Pink Princess Philodendron in your home
Pink Princess Philodendron may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Pink Princess Philodendron in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Pink Princess Philodendron
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pink Princess Philodendron after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

A bittersweet moment, Hera was attacked by #thrips 🥺🥺 but we gave her a shower and cut off the rotting root. She’s isolated and propping in some #sphagnummoss & #perlite. I just hope I can save her 😭😭😭😭 #PestsAndPlants #plantcare #PinkPrincessPhilodendron #PhilodendronPinkPrincess

It was doing so good I'm pretty sure it's a lighting issue. I do know it needs lots of indirect sunlight and I thought that's what I was giving it, but I guess I need to move my grow lights farther away. What do you guys think? Is this a lighting issue. This is a pink princess philadendron I put a photo from last week and one from 2 day...

What other plant parents say
If you love pink, you’ll love philo. Pink princess! They thrive in high humidity & I’ve found they also do well in leca. When given a pole, they’ll put off larger leaves. They do brown / not put out a lot of pink if in too bright of light.
Very beautiful low color Philodendron Pink Princess from American Plant Exchange (more light will give it more color they say). Best price available for a great plant. Shop around for the best plant for you! These babies don’t come cheap. And they prefer distilled water and high humidity. If you’re getting this Pink Princess do yourself and it a favor and get a distiller and a levoit humidifier. They’ll help you give her the proper care!
