Finding light for Beccari's Peperomia in your home

Beccari's Peperomia may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Beccari's Peperomia in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Beccari's Peperomia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Beccari's Peperomia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Baby rubber plant froze and is quickly dying One of my longest lasting plants sits by my window and the other day I discovered my window wasn't fully shut. A couple of leaves were frozen solid but now, he's fully thawed but very limp and dark brown and I think will be fully dead in the next day or two. Is there anything I can do? #BabyRubberPlant #RubberPlant

For every success there’s another issue 🤦 My Echeveria is potentially sending out a flower stalk, which is great. But this darling? Nope. She’s just not having it apparently. She was in her nursery soil for ages and I think it had peat moss that went hydrophobic, so I repotted her. She was starting to wilt a bit so I assumed that the soil wasn’t taking up water properly. It’s a mixture of old soil really: coir, perlite, potting soil. Her plant card said that she liked well-draining soil so I thought this would be fine. I gave her a biiiig drink and put her back on my bedside table. It’s quite dark there, the only light she gets really is from my (regular) LED lamp, and she’s quite far from the window. I thought she looked a bit floppy due to the stress of repotting so I put her under my grow light with some other plants to give her some extra light. Theeeenn she got floppier, so I moved her onto my piano; right by the western window, and it’s winter so no harsh sun. What I will say is that it is quite close to the radiator, so that could be a factor. Shes just getting floppier by the day really. I only repotted her two or three days ago. I’ve given her some good drinks but her root system is actually quite small so I’m not sure how much she’s taking up. She’s also started dropping leaves now, so I thought that I should probably ask for advice at this point. Is this just a temperamental type of plant or is she stressed?? Or have I done something wrong? She seemed completely fine on my bedside table for ages, it’s only when her soil got so dry that it pulled away from the pot did this become an issue!! Her plant card picture is her when she was fresh from the nursery btw. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #Peperomia #teardroppeperomia #help #repotting

Does once a month seem like it would be 🆗 for watering now that we are in December. I'm in SC but it's still cold here so it's indoors. Watered today 12/10 since 11/11 b/c it finally dried out. Also concerned abt those raised brown spots in pic 2. #Peperomia

Is it a pest??? #Peperomia She was looking a little rough so I started inspecting the leaves. The white dots are in the leaves - I cant rub them off. It seems to be mainly on the leaves closest to the roots with the further out leaves looking wonderful and dark. The dead leaves in the pot look like they had spots on them. I dont know what to do!

Help! I’ve noticed some leaves falling lately. I have two jelly plants, one for longer than the other and my first has always thrived in the spot my second one is in but I’ve noticed in both plants (more so the second one but a little in my first) new growths/leaves turning black and in my second one he has lost quite a few leaves. I’m not sure why I haven’t changed anything - any tips as to why this would happen? I’m getting a lot of new growth but they turn black in a couple days and I don’t want this to progress into the second one dying bc he’s still little and doesn’t have much to begin with and he’s down to three big leaves and stems

Turtle growth?? #Peperomia Last time I watered my string of turtles I used the dunk/ submerge method for the 1st time. Since then, it has grown several long bumpy tips on the vines. There is new turtle growth, but more so on the base of the vines. What’s up with the long tentacles (for lack of a better word)? Is this normal/ ok? #NewGrowth #NewPlantMom #StringOfTurtles #whatarethose #help
