Japanese Banana love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Japanese Banana does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Japanese Banana in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Japanese Banana
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Japanese Banana after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Happy #FreshLeafFriday everyone! Today I’m featuring all 3 of my banana plants which all have new leaves. Believe it or not, the first two were in poor shape when they arrived. I tagged them in their arrival condition photos. In only 6 weeks, I have them looking like different plants and they have grown so much☺️💪🏻🍌. Talk about a proud momma. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth
