Bananas are known be pretty dramatic. Yellowing and slowed growth usually come from too much water, lower light, or cooler temps (dry air from heaters as well). The pup growing is a great sign. Make sure the pot drains well, let the soil dry slightly between waterings, and keep it warm and bright.
Good to know bananas can be dramatic/sensitive & hopefully it's not due to something I did wrong. ๐Ÿ˜… I'll keep baby-ing it and hopefully if nothing else, the pup survives! Thanks so much for your advice @FamedGymealily
