How to fertilize Monstera Borsigiana
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Monstera Borsigiana after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Severe gnat infestation Repotted my monstera deliciosa about 2 months ago and it's infested. It's a glazed clay pot with drainage, soil is a mix of miracle grow moisture control potting soil with added pine bark, perlite, and sand. Never had issues with this mix before. I've tried watering it- and all my other plants that are slowly getting infested with peroxide, mosquito bits "tea", spray them constantly with neem oil, mint and rosemary oil, all of them have a layer or diatomaceous earth on the top, yellow sticky traps, and I have blue light traps all around my house. I cannot bottom water since it's way too heavy and big to lift, and I water it every 3-4 weeks. Nothing is working. HELP!

Want to get this plant, not completely educated on monsteras. Does this plant look healthy/look like it has pest/root issues?

New pot too big? My Monstera is doing very well but I’ve been thinking about repotting it, as the current pot seems to be getting a bit too small. However, I only have one pot at the moment that’s significantly larger than the current one. Would that be bad for it and should I get a medium-sized pot instead or will she be able to deal with it? #Monstera

Any tips for propagating a stretched out monstera? Just got this big monstera from a garden club sale for $15, but it’s veryy stretched out and collapsed. I doubt I’d be up able to straighten it since the new growth is the opposite direction. After it acclimates I’m planning to do a big chop and propagate all of the cuttings, then put it back into the pot. It has long aerial roots and lot of new growth, just neglected (it was a donation to the garden club). I have two other monsteras but I’ve never propagated, especially for cutting up the whole plant, so any tips? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation #MonsteraMonday #Monstera #Propagation #MonsteraMob
