How to fertilize Monstera cenepensis
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Monstera cenepensis after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Should i be worried? #Monstera I got this baby 2 weeks ago. I saw the soil was so wet so i decided to repot it to a chunky mix and add the moss pole after a week. I haven’t watered it yet since then nor the moss pole. Just today I saw this leaf dropping and decided to cut it because the visible end was black and mushy. I haven’t check under the soil yet. Should I be worried?

Plan: Go to the nursery. Buy moss pole supplies. Leave. Reality: Go to the nursery. Leave with 6 new plants. Almost forget the moss pole supplies. 🤦🏼♀️🌿 So Friday became moss-pole construction day for the royal Monsteras — including the newest member of the court, my Monstera Albo, Lord Byron. 👑 #HappyPlants #Monstera #MonsteraAlbo #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #MossPole #ADHDPLANTLOVERS #PlantCorner

My sister is moving into a new house and when I went inside to have a look around I saw this staggered shelf table in a corner. I commented that I've been looking for something just like it to put in my living room so I can move my monstera and a couple of other plants over to the windows (they've been living on my kitchen counter). AND SHE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT!! 😍😍😍 It's obviously built to be a corner table BUT I'LL MAKE IT WORK! 😂 I'm now considering mounting a moss pole to the wall for Athena. 🤔🤔 What do you guys think?? (I'm also going to repot her, she's growing out the bottom of that one 🫣🫣) @Alucen @DreamMachine @FunLentenrose37 @Idplantthat @Malagueña @MariansOasis @princesspitstop @SillyPlantGirl @debbiedo @Kittylover1612 @Ms.Persnickety @planthoe40 @HolyLacealoe @Succulent_Soul #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #monsteramonday #thewateringhole

I stumbled across this Burle Marx Flame a week ago and I know all monsteras are different anything special I need to know about him?

How chunky? My variegated monstera lechleriana nearly died of root rot months ago. I got her to regrow them through chop and prop. The time has come to pot her back up. She's got beautiful roots, and I want to see her thrive. I just don't want her to rot again. What kind of soil do y'all recommend? I know how to mix up a good, chunky mix. But should I make it a little chunkier this time, like say, hoya chunky? Thanks in advance! #monstera #monsteramob #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

This beautiful discoloration appeared on my monstera deliciosa leaf almost 4 weeks ago. When I first saw it I said “WOW THAT IS BEAUTIFUL” until I quickly remembered my deliciosa is not veriagated😭 I got very nervous for her. Here we are almost 4 weeks later- the patch has not changed size or color, the leaves are still beautifully glossy and firm, no brown edges or crispy tips, no wet tissue, and is actively growing and completely attached to the moss pole with aerial roots. My research told me this can happen for a multitude of reasons, and also that the leaf could basically be unbothered even with that spot. Ever seen or heard of that before? I don’t knew what caused it, but I’m gonna take it as luck. Because I personally think it’s beautiful🤷♂️ Hopefully she stays with me:) I shall update #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #NewPlantMom #MonsteraMonday #PlantCorner

Just an appreciation post. Her new leaf is hardening of beautifully! Still some new Rust spore growth on the leaves (which I’m actively taking care of) But nothing on the newest leafs:) She’s a stunner 😍
