How to fertilize cactus

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Should I cut them or no? Hey guys. I have had this #Mammillaria for about two and half years. Was going to give them fresh soil and I’ve known of the yellowing base for a while. I’m not sure if it’s normal due to aging or if it’s something I should cut off. Because the roots don’t look too bad to me anyway. What do you guys think? #Mammillaria #CactusClique
