How to fertilize Brain Cactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Brain Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

M. spinosissima or no? Hi folks; the app is giving me fits (NOT A GOLDEN BARREL CACTUS, GREG, sheesh), so I turn to the humans -- what's Leathia's deal, do you suppose? Non-silky, non-spiraling (so far?) spines, deep pink flowers (double row of pointed petals) below crown, bit of a redhead, stands maybe 3cm tall -- any theories? #Mammillaria

i’m just wondering if the white spots are normal or something i need to be concerned about?

Catus fertilizers Does anyone have a good formula of common household things that can be used to make a fertilizer for a small cactus? I have never fertilized mine and I have had it for over 3 years. I googled ideas and it came up with banana peel powder and eggshells but I am not quite sure what do do with either of those and they seem like very complicated to get. Has anyone used cactus fertilizer like this before?? Any tips would be so appreciated. My cactus is shown below
