About Krimson Princess Hoya
With over 500 species and even more cultivars, there's a Hoya out there for everyone! They're native to Southeast Asia and their common name, waxplant, refers to their thick, waxy leaves which help them retain water in the heat. They're excellent climbers and will take off if you give them a trellis to grow on. Their other-worldly, star-shaped flowers are often fragrant and come in brilliant shades of red, pink, yellow, and more!

My #krimsonprincess seems to have recovered from the trauma of moving (over a year ago) so once this bloom is done I can finally separate these plants into different pots.

Happy Hoyas š After surviving the thrips apocalypse I had lost so many plants. A very nice lady I call my Plant Guru , helped repopulate my collection with so many little Hoya cuttings for free, I was finally able to gift her a tiny little crystal tree last weekend to thank her for healing my little heart ahah!šŖ“š± My plant guru also shared her secret formula to propagate Hoyas in moss! I was also able to find these cute little plant pots with drainage pots inside at the thrift store for 1$ each! š Wishing our little friends growth and prosperity! šŖš»š± #louisxvioasis #Hoya #HoyaHeads #HoyaHangout

I noticed two leaves are turning/turned brown. I bought from a woman who has a greenhouse in her back yard. Not sure when it was watered last but the soil does feel dryer today. What can I do with the leaf do I cut it and should I water it? #Hoya #NewPlantMom

At least for me, this plant is a SLOW grower, but itās among marathon sprinter company. It can attract pests (mealey bugs)so check the undersides of the leaves, the new leaves and branching points. Knock on wood nothing so far, move it around until you find that sweet spot it likes then be patient. š
