How to fertilize Guzmania Bromeliad
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Guzmania Bromeliad after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

New Bromeliad Pups #help #Guzmania #Bromeliad @Shells_Garden I had to repot my bromeliad because I found some little grey bugs floating in the cups after watering. Washed out the whole plant and just watered it with some diluted hydrogen peroxide. While repotting, I noticed what look like 3 new pups. I didn’t take a picture, but they were white and split at the end like leaves? Anyways, my mother plant is starting to die because it bloomed last summer. I already had one pup and I didn’t let it get big enough before detaching. Two questions: 1. Should I push back the dirt where the pups are at the base? Or should I just leave them as is? 2. Will the mother plant stay alive long enough to keep the pups alive until they have their own roots?

Water pools in #Guzmania Hi everyone, so I read somewhere that when you water this type of #AirPlant that it’s good to have little water pools between the leaves, and I thought they would be soaked up but they’re kinda just.. sat there. Is this ok or will it lead to rot? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #Watering #PlantTherapy #PlantLove
