Finding light for Gladiolus in your home

Gladiolus love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Gladiolus does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Gladiolus in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Gladiolus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Gladiolus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What’s happening to these leaves? My young #Tuberose plant and newly emerging #Gladiolus stalks are showing small vertical slit type “holes” in the longer leaf and I’ve never seen this before so I don’t know what it is and how to fix it. Is this some kind of bug effect? Is it watering or weather? We had a couple of cooler nights this week than previous weeks but the other plants all seem to be doing well. #NewGrowth #OutdoorGrowing #OutdoorGarden #PestControl #WhatAmIDoingWrong #NewPlantMom #Zone9

Yk what day it is … #FreshLeafFriday! I’ve got quite a few little fellas that showed out this past week! 🙌 This baby jellybean succulent has grown all of his current leaves this past week, starting on Monday! The huge golden pothos I keep in my bedroom has put out some new leaves! Not just 2 or 3… but 8!! He’s finally starting to trail down my wall! This tiny baby gladiolus was bought in a bulb pack from a dollar store. I didn’t expect the bulbs to grow, but they sprouted some little leaves overnight!! I can’t wait to see how pretty these little babies will be!! 🤩🫶 #GregGang #Greggers #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GoldenPothos #JellyBeanPlant #Gladiolus

Planting outdoors with my Grow Bags I have been racking my brain trying to come up with something to put under my 15 gallon grow bags that are outside. I really like the idea of grow bags. I have never used them before but I’m pretty stoked about it. I am suddenly a bit concerned about them sitting directly right on the ground. I can’t believe the price of a 20 inch saucer. I mean I can do it, but it’s still insane. lol. I also don’t like the idea of a saucer and I was trying to think of something different, cool, a bit boho maybe. I have two different gladiolus bulbs so far….tulips, anemone. More on the way. but if anyone has any ideas of how I could get them off the ground just a tad or maybe is it OK for them to sit on the ground?? I appreciate anyone’s input 🤩 #HappyPlants #growbags #PlantAddict #OutdoorGrowing #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregGang #NewGrowth #Gladiolus #imagination
