How to fertilize Gasteria aristata
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Gasteria aristata after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What type of succulent is this? I got this plant from Lowe's a few weeks back and there was no tag. I don't think it's what Greg says because it's not warty. It's smooth. Is it a type of aloe? #plantsmakepeoplehappy #happyplants #succulentsquad #aloevera #gasteria

What causes the tip of ChloroPhil ox tongue to turn dark and crispy. I have it in a 4 inch glaze pot. When watering it gets 2 tbls of water. Help😔 any advice would help☺️ Thanks #Gasteria

Reviving an Ox Tongue? McKinley here came with the house, (as did almost all of my current oasis) and all I know for sure is that succulents don't appreciate being in a closed north-facing porch for multiple years and have a hard time articulating their exact traumas. I know he's beyond turning blue yet still tenaciously clinging to life. I've got him on a bi-weekly water schedule and just trimmed some of the more egregious dying leaves. All the extra supports an Ox Tongue would like are supercalifragalisticexpialidouchious (aka ty 😊)

I'm unsure of pruning a leaf This guy was almost dead when we started rehab 3 months ago and a lot of the leaves were an obvious lost cause. I hesitated to cut the long one hanging over because I'd already removed so much I didn't want to send him into shock, so I figured I'd give it a week and re-evaluate. Now I'm thinking I would have lopped off a healthy leaf, but the base looks pretty rough and I'm just not sure. Opinions? #planthelp #succulentsquad #succulentlove #oxtongue #pruning #plantrehab

I just got it and don't know when the last time it was watered when do I water it again

Yall agree that it needs a repot? Feels like there is no soil, only roots... Oh and btw, I doubt it is a ox tounge maybe someone knows better than gregs suggestion?

Why is this so brown? Is it identified correctly? I took this from a friend but it looks like it needs triage #Gasteria

Should I stop watering? This is a leaf from one of those Kosmic Kactus that someone gave me. He has babies coming up beside him, I guess they are called babies🤷♀️. The mother leaf is very, very plump. I've been watering like the Greg app says, and he seems to be doing great, but I'm a little concerned because the mother leave is so plump now.
