How to fertilize Hedgehog Cactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hedgehog Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Did I kill my cactus? I took in my cactus today for the upcoming cold night weather. I noticed some issues happening with it (the pictures explain what I am noticing). What is happening to my cactus? What can I do to help it? #GoldenTorch

Is this a golden barrel cactus or a golden torch cactus? 😲 I’ve used about five plant identifying apps and one says golden torch while the other four say golden barrel but I can’t help but feel like it’s a golden torch 😩😗😵💫 P.s. I know it’s to big for that planter I’ve already moved it to a new pot lol 😗

Anyone know about cactus? I usually underwater my succulents & cacti (just checked soil still moist) so I'm wondering if that is why my golden torch's skin looks really dried out. The red circle is the problem area and the yellow arrow is an old split. What I'm wondering is if it's under watered, disease, or pests. I wanted to let it do it's thing naturally but if it's pests or disease I have to nip it in the bud before it spreads. Any advice is appreciated, thank you. Also, I'm assuming that the skinny portion will always be skinny? Can't fill it back out again?

How big do these get? I got this #Saguaro from a co-worker. She has it in a non drainage coffee mug type pot. As soon as my soil comes in, it is going in a 6 inch pot. Also, do these like to be top or bottom watering?

This plant has grown a couple inches each year I've had it, but the deep green color is becoming spotty and there are now 'dried' areas. How can I help it green up again? #GoldenTorch

Black spots on areolas!?! Is it normal for black spots to be on areolas? #GoldenTorch

Athena is having breakfast at 6 am. I like it how shiny the "skin" is. Also, a spider is inspecting flowers in the wild garden. @UltraKoreanfir @LittleSongbird @Seymour

Cactus turning yellow My little cactus has always been healthy. I have not made changes in the watering routine (adjusting it as always for winter) nor light. It receives bright, indirect sunlight, but from one week on, it's been turning like this. What can I do to make it better?
