Anyone know why it’s getting skinny from top down? Was originally same diameter all the way up. They did go from an outdoor location to indoors…light? Is it starving and eating its stores? Thanks!

I've had this tiny cactus for a year. I propagated it. I have had no experience how to overwinter cacti, and the tiny "Athena" has suffered a lot. She has lost all her green colour in 1 month. I was anxious whether she would survive. I changed the environment, hoping my diagnosis was right. I'm excited to show her photo here on the road to recovery. I learned the hard way that there's no such thing as overwintering #cacti in Queensland, Australia. My beloved #cactus #echinopsis Athena has suffered much because of my ignorance, but has pulled through and is showing more green. I was sad because of what I did to Athena. I bought this hamster to cheer me up. #cactusclique

This morning is the time for bottom watering. #echinopsis Einstein and Athena are getting rain water, and #echeveria Sahara is getting rain water with a natural organic fertilizer. The best time to water succulents is early in the morning. Also, the proper technique is the "dry and drench" technique . No water poured on the succulents; they don't like it. It's like with us humans. We don't like walking in the rain. #succulentsquad #succulentlove #succulentknowledge #greggang #greggers

For a few months I've been helping people here to find the proper name for their plants, but I didn't think of finding the right info about my #cacti . Because of this I've been bending over backwards to make my cactus more green. The reason is it's #Echinopsis Calochlora Lime Green . IT IS LIME GREEN !
