Finding light for 'Black Flash' in your home
'Black Flash' love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
'Black Flash' does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of 'Black Flash' in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize 'Black Flash'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your 'Black Flash' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can it be saved? Fernie has been dropping leaves since I got her a month ago. Recently it’s been like 2-4 leaves per week. They yellow and get mushy, then I remove them. Now there’s white sticky stuff on all the leaves starting in the center. She appears to be rotting but I’ve repotted her in fast-draining soil and haven’t watered her in over a week. She also has new growth on the side and in the center. Any suggestions on how to save her? #RootRot #Echeveria #HappyPlants

My Echeveria PVN has recovered from it's troubles and has some beautiful new growth. Once it's a little bigger I might attempt to behead the healthy part and repot it. On another note, the lobe I took off incase Pax hadn't recovered has grown a cute little almost rosette! I can't wait to see how Pax jr is going to turn out! #succulentsquad #succulentlove #echeveria #greggang #plantsmakepeoplehappy

There's a pup (offshoot?) growing from the middle of the rosette on my Joan Daniels echeveria. Is that normal? Or is that the beginnings of a flower stalk?

What happened to my plant? My plant is in good health. When I got the plant there was this “stem” growing out of it and at first I thought it was flowering (keep in mind I’m fairly new to plants and still learning about them) but now this “stem” looks like it has died/is dying. I’ve been trying to research what may be happening or why it’s doing this but I haven’t been able to figure it out. Maybe someone here could help and explain

Another one of my #EcheveriaLola 💖 this one got etiolated because it was my first #Echeveria ever, and at the time I didn’t understand just HOW much light they need! Lol! (Just to be clear, I do know now and I have dozens of happy succulents under very bright lights 😊) So I did a chop and prop. The original head is happily growing new roots in a tiny terracotta pot, and this one grew 4 new heads. #Succulents are so fascinating! And this one is now my favorite; it’s gorgeous from every angle! #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #ChopAndProp #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulent #WhatTheSucc #PlantAddict #babevila
