Finding light for Succulent in your home

a window
Succulent love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Succulent does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Succulent in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Succulent

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Succulent after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What type of Echie do I have? Hey everyone, I’ve had this guy for several months now, and it’s been growing beautifully. I initially identified it as a Galaxy Blue Echeveria, but after seeing it grow and sprout offshoots, I’m starting to question that. I’m thinking it may not even be an Echie at this point — maybe a grapto of some sort? I just chopped and propped this lengthy offshoot, too, and want to add it to my collection as its own plant, so I’m hoping to correctly ID them both. What do you guys think? #HappyPlants #Echeveria #PropagationStation

Moist, dying leaves My Echeveria ‘Mira’ has had a lot of leaves now that just suddenly become kinda moist then just shrivel up, brown, and fall off, like this one is doing in the picture. Is this from too little sun, too much sun, too little water, too much water?

I’ve received 2 of the 3 plants I ordered from Altman and they are both lovely! Great shape when delivered. My only question is, do I water upon receipt or wait? The neon breaker was pretty dry so I watered but the other was a little damp. I did water a few drops on topsoil but figured I’d wait for “Greg” to tell me when and how much

I have just noticed that the top center of my plant is turning black. Does this mean that it did not get enough sun was over watered #Echeveria

Seems to be struggling after doing well for the first couple of months. Bottom pieces are turning brown and soft, while the top ones seem to be forming a white powder..dare I say mold. Any tips?? #Echeveria

Ok succulent lovers and experts. This is Flora. I absolutely love her, but I'm not sure how to continue to help her be healthy. She was a single plant when I got her. She grew so tall I cut her up into pieces, pand she flourished. Now she has naked legs and a lot of new growth around her. Should I just leave her alone or start propagating the leggy pieces. I have been removing the dead leaves in prep for spring #happyplants #succulentsquad #succulentlove #happyplants #plantaddict #echeveriarunyonii

What does it mean when the middle leaves pop up and away from the main plant? Is it getting ready to bloom? #Echeveria
