Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Garden Cosmos after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.
What other plant parents say
Super easy to grow in the desert, needs full sun loves hotter weather and tolerates coolish weather. I water it every other day when it’s hotter outside and every 2-3 days when it’s colder. It’s a little forgiving when you forget to water it and it perks right back up when you finally give it water. I love this plant, I grew it from seeds and got to see it bloom flowers after about 2 and half months.
