Finding light for Flame Nettle in your home
a window
Flame Nettle may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Flame Nettle in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Flame Nettle
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Flame Nettle after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Does anyone know what this white stuff is that's on my coleus?? It's mostly on this one stem part, but a couple of leaves have it, too. TIA #Coleus

Should I cut these top leafs to make it bushier? The small and newest ones?

I needed some plant therapy to get my mind off things. I have so many plants and I’ve been neglecting them somewhat lately. I wanted a distraction and many of my babies really needed attention. I pruned and repotted about 12 plants. It was work but it was fun. I was particularly blown away by the growth on one of my Coleus plants, Dr. Pepper. I bought small pack of 2 inch starter plants back in April. I have already repotted Dr. Pepper 3 times since then. He just keeps getting huge!!! Today he went into a 10inch pot and he’s beautiful. I’m so proud. Check out the difference in size after only 3.5 months! 1st photo is first repot after I received him; second photo is from May repot and last photo is Dr. Pepper today! #greenthumb #happyplants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Coleus #FreshLeafFriday

This plant has been thriving outside in the sun where I have it. As the seasons change, Can I bring it inside? If I can, at what point do I bring it inside AND what do I do to make sure no little critters join it? #Coleus

Autumn pruning✂️🪴 Who else gives their indoor/outdoor plants a autumn shave and stuffs them in a "cool" room so you can practically forget about them until spring?😅🍁 #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #coleus #hibernation #pruning #adhdplantlovers

Plant I got Planty the Potted Plant over a year ago at my nieces baby shower as just a starter. Both me and my grandmother are the only ones who still has theirs alive. I'm super proud of mine. He has just reached a lil over 2ft tall and I see new growth every day. The first picture is him in may and the second picture is him now (he fills up that same window.) I can only assume this means that he loves me and Im the perfect parent for my child. #Coleus

Thirsty Much? #Coleus I am trying not to kill this plant, but she is always thirsty! I know she is not potted ideally (no drainage), but she got too big for all my other pots and this pot called her name. When I water, I give her the whole can, about 5 cups. Pics are her this past Sunday afternoon before and after watering, and again this evening before watering. If I keep watering her this often, am I going to give her root rot?? Any other advice? TIA! #help #ThirstyThursday #NewPlantMom #BeforeAndAfter
