Finding light for Rosemary in your home
a window
Rosemary may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Rosemary in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Rosemary
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Rosemary after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

This is one of my favorite #native plants because it tends to start blooming around this time of year, when most everything else has stopped. The delicate little flowers are so pretty and bees and birds love it. I watered the area last night and today it was full of blooms. There are so many more buds waiting to open, too. Native to #Florida, sometimes called Forked Bluecurls. It’s a great plant for wild, natural areas. I definitely recommend it for any other Florida gardeners! 💚

Update!! My chalksticks that I was concerned about leaning, they are doing wonderful. After some research they do in fact do that and one comment from @Jilliebeanstalk told me they reached for the ground in nature, in the last few days he has been growing like CRAZY, you can see on his plant card he’s made a lot of growth and even new roots I saw going into the soil!! And on the second picture what is this? My first thought was an aerial root but I was hoping to get some more opinions! #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom
