About Berry Allusion Arrowhead Plant
Syngonium podophyllum is a popular, easy-to-care-for houseplant with beautiful arrowhead shaped leaves. You’ll often see these plants grown in their juvenile stage, but given something to climb on and abundant sunlight you may see them mature into their adult stage! The leaf shape changes as they mature and may even appear to split into three individual leaves. In the wild they can climb up to 65 feet tall. Be sure to handle them with care, as their sap contains oxalic acid which can be very irritating to the skin and eyes. 👀

To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Berry Allusion Arrowhead Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Drama Queen. This one gets super droopy and perks right back up with water every 5 days. Still in its nursery pot, the smaller leaves are yellowing like maybe it’s to much water? #Syngonium #syngonimRobusta #DramaticPlants #yellowing

Halloween Ideas. I would like to Jazz up my plants for Halloween. Any suggestions? Is it okay to water my arrowhead with red food coloring? Or will it kill it? If it doesn't, will it show some color on the leaves/stems? Does anyone recommend something different? Thank you 😊.

If your plant has spider mites and you have a collection of 40… do you… toss it and start again or do what you can to eradicate? I’ve already had 3 that have quarantined and appear mite free but this one appears worse. Very worse. Creepy crawly worse. Is it worth it?

Just wanted to speak to someone who would understand… Tonight, I feel defeated. I’ve treated my Alocasias less than a week ago for first signs of spider mites. That’s commun occurrence, I clean everything, treat everything, no biggy. I feel that kinda comes with it and I have now a dedicated “plant jail” for this. I moved my arrowhead recently from a window to my greenhouse and it wasn’t looking too hot. Lighting change could be responsible, it does not like its new neighbour, I don’t know but again, no big deal. Tonight, I go to water it and it is clinging onto life. Barely. I check and see a bunch of rust spots. Hmmm. This is not normal. Well folks, I have thrips. I feel so defeated. I have no new plants, nothing has changed, I just have new undesirable roommates. I just spent the last 2 hours washing leaves, cutting trimming down and honestly, shedding a few tears. I know it’s part of the game and the hobby, but what was supposed to be a week of vacation, maybe even plant shopping at a few spots i always wanted to check out just transformed in pest control/management. How can I go look at new plants when I can’t even handle the ones I have? Anyway, sorry for that rambling, I just wanted to write to someone who would get it. I know there is much worst going on in general. I also dedicate this post to spike leaves, the fallen hero. I’m sure the 40 other plants are thank you for your sacrifice. #PestControl #ArrowheadPlant #SadPlantDay

Leggy arrowhead/syngonium? Hi - my arrowhead plant looks like it might be a bit leggy? I don’t know if this is legginess or not… I actually recently moved it a bit closer to the window to fit on my new plant stand (IKEA if anyone is insterested) thinking it would be happy there, but I’m worried it’s not happy! If it’s any closer to the window it’ll be in direct south facing window sunlight all day! There’s still lots of new growth and the colour looks okay except the odd floppy yellow leaf that I’ve removed. Can anyone help? What’s wrong with her? Is it something else? #Syngonium #ArrowheadPlant #NewPlantMom

What other plant parents say
This plant grows insanely fast and I always have at least four new leaves. I keep mine at ~65% humidity with grow lights (no natural sunlight) and a layer an inch deep of spagnum moss covering the soil to keep it a little more humid.
