Finding light for Begonia in your home
a window
Begonia may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Begonia in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Begonia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Begonia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can’t find information on the hybrid Hello! I am hoping someone here can help me with some information on the hybrid I purchased from my local greenhouse. It was listed as an H. Spellbound, and I got as far as potentially finding an eBay listing for a Harmony angel wing Spellbound cane hybrid, but nothing else. My search on the Harmony website turned up nothing. Mostly, I liked that this had light leaf coloring and the peachy blooms, and I wanted to know if I could expect this to retain that leaf coloration as it grows. @ #Begonia #begoniamaculata #PlantID

Begonia Help I’m a first time begonia owner and I’ve had nothing but leaves crisp up and fall. Here are the conditions: - 4 inch plastic pot - succulent type soil (well draining) - 1 foot from my window (north facing) - next to a grow light The only thing I can think of is that because im unfortunately able to get her pot out of the decorative pot, I just guess how much water I need to use. But I try not to over pour. Could this be the cause? Any advice would be awesome! #GrowLights #Begonia #NewPlantMom #NewPlants #HappyPlants

Soooo it’s grown some more since first posting of this… is this really a begonia? What am I doing wrong? Is it too soon to repot again? What should its pot and soil be? #randomclipling #justthrewindirt #Begonia

So I rescued this sweet girl from a Bigbox store, where she was obviously not treated properly. Any suggestions on the best way to help her recover would be lovely! Also, does anyone know what the burnt, brown crispy edges, and half missing leaves would be from? I’m guessing she was getting too much sun? Although I have always wanted one, this is my first Polka Dot Begonia, so I am still unsure of her needs and signs of distress, and or happiness. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance! I hope to help her recover.
