Potted three of my anthurium magnificum in the same pot due to lack of growth above soil lately. Below soil they were all full of nice roots. I read they like to have crowded roots. Should I plant them back to their tiny pots with the new soil mix instead? #PlantAddict #Anthurium #GregGang #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

ID Help: Mystery Anthurium Butt Anyone know what type of Anthurium butt this is? Traded it for some pots today and I'm curious. They said they bought it from someone who self pollinates so it's likely a cross. The first photo is what it looked like before they chopped it My best guess is a Magnificum x #anthuriumassembly #anthurium #identify #idmeplease #idkstephs #plantsmakepeoplehappy #happyplants #help

It is droopy, the flower color is also changing slowly from red to dull brown. I cut the yellow leaves. I water twice weekly, mist every day, have a humidifier, it's in bright indirect light, well draining soil and pot. I don't understand what's wrong. #Anthurium

Iām so happy!! My #anthurium Stanley is doing so good! We have #babiesātwo new #pups!āand a an #aerialroot! I was trimming away brown sheathes and Iām so relieved I noticed this one was different! I gently peeled the brown sheath away from it and had no clue what was going on here⦠so I asked ChatGPT for a more immediate answer š It said this was an aerial root! Then I noticed these two coming out of the ground, and I was so excited for what I thought they could be that I asked ChatGPT againāand it confirmed they were basal offsets aka pups! As a #NewPlantMom Iām so relieved to be doing something right! #newplantgrowth #newgrowth #freshleaffriday

Painter's Palette #Anthurium, mine no longer have the red foliage. It's kept near a window that gets indirect light and I water it when dry. What can be causing this?

Is it normal for new growth to stay curled at first? I got this plant from a friend and it was a bit of a rescue mission. Since then, this is the second new leaf growth that I've seen. However, both times, it's stayed curled like this and it looks like it puts a lot of stress on the leaf and the stem. Most of the leaves also show signs of mechanical stress. #Anthurium #NewGrowth

What other plant parents say

An absolute favourite, so incredibly rewarding however it is a pricey plant so would not recommend to beginnings unless your prepared to possibly loose it. Trial and error baby.
With high humidity and bright indirect light this Bub will forever love you with its leaves.
