Finding light for Chinese Evergreen Valentine in your home
a window
Chinese Evergreen Valentine can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Chinese Evergreen Valentine in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Chinese Evergreen Valentine
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Chinese Evergreen Valentine after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Why is she loosing her color? She was under a grow light and I moved her to see if that would bring back some of her color but I’m not sure that was the right answer to the problem. Please send help! #Aglaonema

Happy #FreshLeafFriday 💖🌱🥳 This week, my other #PhilodendronBirkin released a new, gorgeous white leaf with pretty variegation. It’s halfway through unfurling 🤗 My #SilverLeafPhilodendron’s new leaf from last week finished opening and is getting that pretty silver variegated pattern on it. It’s so shiny! My #RedSiamAuroraAglaonema’s newly opened leaf has another new leaf poking out now! My #Aglaonema Golden Fluorite is now living in water, but her new leaf is looking good and starting to show its colors and patterns! And my Silver Leaf #Philo has several more new leaves coming in, and is currently in the process of unfurling this one! 🌱✨🪴✨💚✨🤗 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #NewLeafAlert #PlantTherapy #GregGang #PLANTMAFIA #babevila

What a champion. He pops out a new leaf every couple of months and is fine basically anywhere! I’m finding he maintains a lot of pink even when in medium light but one leaf came out with more green when he was briefly in lower light. The app keeps telling me to water him every few days but I tend to wait like 3 weeks until very dry, then bottom water for 30 mins or so with distilled water and a teeny drop of liquid fertiliser.
