Hyssop
About Hyssop
This semi-evergreen perennial is native to Southern and Eastern Europe but has naturalized in some areas of the USA. It performs best when grown in a location that provides some shade from the hot afternoon sun. Trimming in the spring is best and will aid in the overall health of the plant. Its leaves and young shoot tips are edible both raw or used as a flavoring in a variety of dishes.

How to fertilize Hyssop
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hyssop after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.
