She’s a mother!! My dear PVN has a child! They grow up so fast ☺️ Could I just leave the baby with her or would it be best to remove it once she’s a bit bigger? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #Echeveria #perlevonnurnberg #babyplants #babysucculent

When do I repot this plant? I've had it for about a week and 1/2. What kind of soil and size of pot do I use? Thanks! #Echeveria

I’m looking for some advice about my Echeveria 'Perle von Nurnberg'. This attached picture is what he looked like when I got him and he stayed in that pot until I thought he was getting too big for it. Come to find out, he was in REGULAR DIRT 😱 I realized his soil was SO SATURATED from all the watering and no drainage (rookie mistake). So I put him in dry soil but didn’t have any succulent soil. Now, a few weeks later, I’ve put him in succulent soil in a bigger potter that has a drainage hole. But his leaves just don’t look like they used to 😫 I’m a newbie and am looking for advice. Did I do the right thing? Is this a normal color for him to be? Do I need to start planning a plant funeral? Help!!!

Trouble with stem cutting & transplanting Hi! I’ve had this echeveria for a few years but it’s always been struggling a little bit. My house doesn’t get great light, so it was leggy for the longest time and eventually was losing all of its leaves from the bottom of the stem up. Finally, I tried clipping it above a node and planting the rosette in its own new pot, but I didn’t give it any time to scab over, and I think I didn’t leave a long enough stem under the rosette. I tried to leave an inch or two. The remainder of the stem I stuck in another pot hoping it would do something. It has not. Have I doomed this plant? I never see any like it in stores and I’ll be sad to lose it. I don’t know that any of these leaves could successfully propagate. I’m new to propogating and stem cutting. Previously I had help from my Alma mater university’s horticulture club to separate offspring pups from haworthias and golden sedums I got from them, but I never did stem cutting with any plants I’ve had. #Echeveria #stemcutting #HappyPlants #propogationstation #NewGrowth

So she was doing really well until the cat decided to chew on her. Now she looks a little sad. Is there anything special I should do to help her bounce back outside the obvious of moving her? Or is she toast? #Echeveria
