My two stromanthes, and their new leaves, copying eachother. 🌱 Both are about a year into my care, one has bounced back from thrips, and both from spider mites. Alcina (on the left) is tagged, you can see the amount of growth in 1 year. In my climate, these plants are not fussy at all (pests aside,) but I do give them rainwater. My #TriostarStromanthe is loving her grow light and giving me FIVE new leaves at once. Bright, full-spectrum light for 12 hours a day for three weeks agrees with her. I’m pleased as punch that I could make her one of the #HappyPlants in my oasis. (Don’t mind the crispy leaf tips; they were there when I bought it a month ago. If I should snip them, let me know.)

My triostar has started showing these white spots on leaves. They aren’t textured or anything and the plant is doing great. Is this something I need to be worried about?

I may have overfertilized my triostar. I just took the top inch of soil off and put fresh potting soil in return plus watered it. Will my plant be okay?

Leafs are turning more yellow than white. New leafs are still coming in, but they’re yellow as well. The plant seems happy but the colors are concerning.
