Hello again, everyone. ✌️ I hope all is well. This is my 40+ year-old hibiscus and its long awaited first flower of this year. This is the one that I photographed for my oasis. The unusual frost we had here, earlier in the year, had killed it all the way down to the ground. I was very concerned about it being dead. I managed to save it and am very happy to see it quickly growing back. This is, by far,my oldest plant. I was in my 20s when I planted it. ♥️ This plant has seen me grow old. 👨‍🌾Wow, and now it has many buds on it. It will probably outlive me 🌸🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌸 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #TropicalPlants #hibiscus #thewateringhole

Hey I’m back in a not so positive mood i found spider mites on many plants. Didn’t know they were causing so much trouble but even so I took some drastic measures ( buzz cutting the leaves ) it’s NOT fun. First the universe or wtv threw aphids. Gone. Thrips. Almost gone/redused AND ALL OF THIS MANUALLY CAUSE I WAS BORED TO WALK A DISTANCE OF NOT EVEN A KILOMETER TO THE AGRICULTURE STORE. AND NOW SPIDER MITES? Girl I- I DID SEE THEM BUT I SAID SUM SHI LIKE “ Awwww cute lil bug make yourself at home 🥰 “ NO. First it was my tumeric. Then it was my beloved chamomile which I wish is not gonna die. Then my fennel. MY FRENCH LAVENDER YALL DONT KNO IM OUT HERE TRYING TO FIND ALL OF THEM FROM MORNING TILL ALMOST NIGHT. If they touch my lemongrass I’m going crazy. I’m gonna spread the negativitest energy on them. I am starting to forget how to write in English I’m gonna cry cause the lavender is pale and fuzzy WHICH MAKES IT HARDER TO SPOT THEM. Also my lavender might have bortytis HOW IS IT EVEN SPELLED. IT S ALREADY GRAYISH HOW AM I SUPPOSEDTO FIND THE MOLD. If sb read all of this novellike post you the ogs Ilove you pls don’t claim my negative energy I’m keeping it for them. Also quick question. Is Audrey ok? I have a question for you all on asparagus ferns. Mine was very very large and I chopped it back to try to make it more compact. It’s got a new huge branch growing and I’m wondering if I can put a wooden skewer in to keep it upright #HappyPlants #TheWateringHole

Hi everyone, just sharing this with you all. I planted these Blue False Indigo plants from harvested seed that came from one of my other bushes three years ago. I waited three years to see these beautiful blue flowers. This is the first year they have bloomed. Just thought you would enjoy it as much as I did. Have a great day, everyone. 😍 #TheWateringHole

Good evening everyone, I hope you are well. I was given a couple milkweed plants, I understand they are great pollinators and that they attract monarch butterflies. Are your Ghost Plants Ghost Plants? 🌿Good afternoon, #TheWateringHole! I’m getting new plant food for all the plants, but that’s all I got for news. 🌿 Ghost plants are named for the whitish layer over the succulent leaves that gives them the ‘ghost’ look. A lot of succulents are misidentified as these because even though the leaves look similar, they lack the ghost-y appearance. Even Greg took my golden sedums as ghost plants. 🌿 Spot the ghost plants ⬇️
