Hello everyone. I guess you could call us an update on the American beauty Berry plants that I have growing by the hundreds all over my property. I dug a small one up today to put it in a pot. This plant was only about 4 inches high however it had two main roots expanding about 3 feet. I clipped back the root so it would fit in a pot. I never saw a plant this small with the root system that extensive. It’s hard for me to believe that Lowes is selling these plants for $40. Good morning everyone. Thank you for answering my question about the  oleander aphids .Yesterday morning when I went outside to check on my garden, I found 100s of seeds sprouting for my butterfly garden. It was amazing how quickly they sprouted. I already have native milkweed, Florida Paintbrush, Firespike, Blanket plants, scarlet that are established and scarlet sage. Meet Shadow Magic my new rare Black/Dark Purple foliage dark red/pink blooms Dwarf Crêpe Myrtle “possibly red bark tree unsure will have to see” all the other crepes are red skinned here 🤷🏻‍♂️ a variety that is basically immune to powdery mildew and pests through breeding fresh breed less than three years old, super rare “super lucky to get one for this price” super happy & excited for the 1st blooms to open I hope they are a bright blood red  #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #RarePlants #OutdoorGrowing #FloweringPlants #LowMaintenance #

This is a Blue Spire Sage. This was at the Master gardeners nursery this morning. This plant had literally dozens of big bumblebees on it while what a great pollinator. Is there anyone who enjoys weeding their yard? Finally had a cool day, so I went out behind the house to get rid of the weeds and vines. LOOK at the size of that one weed! It was so woody looking, but had very shallow roots. The worst plant is the two along the wall, I know it as “fish mint”, and it has a unique smell 🤢 I might have to burn my gardening gloves. Hello everyone, I hope all is well. I used to do a lot of hiking and mountain biking in the Florida swamps and forests. Photography has been an avocation of mine for a number of years and I used to carry several cameras with me. As a result I came across many weird tree growths and cool looking plants. DEAL ALERT ‼️ OK, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to say this is an important post, but it may not be important for everyone but next week the fall plants are being shipped into Walmart. If you would like an amazing deal on some plants, you should go check your local Walmart I do not Advertise for Walmart. I do not work at Walmart. I don’t even know anyone that works at Walmart that being said when I talked to the district greenhouse manager today that happened to be at our local Walmart she must’ve really liked this tree smokin hippie! Everything I touched was marked down… literally, I came home with 13 new plants for a fraction of the cost.. thank you Stephanie at Morehead city Walmart !  2 Stanley plums that are every bit of 10 foot, $10 2 flowering Japanese Yoshino cherries 6-7ft, $10 2 Bloodgood Japanese maple 4-5ft “double trunks” design,$15 2 Twisted trunk hybiscus, $5 4 white hibiscus $10 yes, they are Rose of Sharon’s. Yes, Rose Sharon is the coldest Hardy hibiscus there is. 👌🏽& yes you should go get a few 🫶🏽 1 Shadow Magik Crêpe Myrtle that’s dark purple foliage with bright and dark red blooms $10 less then $150 spent 🤯🥴 let me not forget to mention the plastic whiskey barrels that they have from Better Homes & Gardens that are normally $10 each I got 6 $24.  they were sold out of the medium ones and the large ones were not on sale.
