This is my 40+ year-old hibiscus and its long awaited first flower of this year. This is the one that I photographed for my oasis. The unusual frost we had here, earlier in the year, had killed it all the way down to the ground. I was very concerned about it being dead. I managed to save it and am very happy to see it quickly growing back. This is, by far,my oldest plant. I was in my 20s when I planted it. ♥️ This plant has seen me grow old. 👨🌾Wow, and now it has many buds on it. This a leaf from my giant plum ginger plant each leave is about 2 foot plus long. I went out today to water it and I saw these very weird, insect?, Damage to my plan being a plan owner I’ve seen all sorts of pest damage and I’ve done my best to protect my plants from it. This is really weird looking in that it is in a straight line and the same type of damage. Does anybody know what kind of insect could do this?
