My 2 new Thyme leaf-Cotoneaster future #Bonsai just received & thoroughly cleaned soil off the roots & uppotted to 8” pots for the growth phase. I planted one on top of a palm ✋ size piece of granite to form an over a rock build. Can’t wait till they settle in. Just potted at dark last night pic this morning 🌅 #RarePlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #FloweringPlants Goal is to create a miniature apple tree appearance.

Good morning everyone. I hope you and your plants are growing well.This is a Porter Weed that belongs to a friend. It’s beautiful. I have two, at my house , that I have not yet transplanted. This one is the best one I have seen. The Porter Weed is an excellent pollinator. Its attracts the Gulf Fritillary butterfly. I took the photo on the left, yesterday, with my Canon camera. I was repotting some plants, for her, this morning when I saw a Gulf Fritillary land on the Porter Weed. I took that photo with an iPhone. Mine got kind of rained out, lots of both rain, and thunderstorms! I have been trying to rearrange some of the cacti. But I‘m finding that the prime real estate on the top shelves of both the 3 tiered shelf and the taller 5 tiered shelf is running out. Since I had to move some of the large cacti into bigger pots. The first pic is the top shelf of the taller shelf, followed by the top shelf of the smaller one. My aim now is to stop getting more cacti and if that isn’t possible, only get slower growing smaller specimen. We‘ll see how that is going to turn out!??

Once again in (hoya) love. Just leaving them here, might not have a chance to answer any comments during the next days though, because... life. Not in order, as always, partly in comment: 1.: Featuring the desperately anticipated hanhiae... way smaller, but just as gorgeous and messy as expected. Almost fully ball-shaped peduncles. And the perfect color I was hoping for (for now I wanted neither pure yellow nor the purely pink one. And this on is... chef's kiss. Truly. Overpowering sweet fragrance too. Love the scent and still had to ban her because it was too much. 2.: one of my more pricier ones, the piestolepis. totally worth it, no scent detected as of yet, but my collection's biggest hoya flowers as of yet. I included various stages, because I found all of them to be very pretty. Not sure I like the speed with which it folds back its petals (i really really love those big velvety stars), but those velvet comets are also very special. Last for now, is another picture of the Viola, which just happened to open today as well (catching her small window in which she is actually blooming). I hope all of you are well and are enjoying your weekend. I myself now will disappear again into the void of chaos until summoned. Poof! Meet Shadow Magic my new rare Black/Dark Purple foliage dark red/pink blooms Dwarf Crêpe Myrtle “possibly red bark tree unsure will have to see” all the other crepes are red skinned here 🤷🏻‍♂️ a variety that is basically immune to powdery mildew and pests through breeding fresh breed less than three years old, super rare “super lucky to get one for this price” super happy & excited for the 1st blooms to open I hope they are a bright blood red  #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #RarePlants #OutdoorGrowing #FloweringPlants #LowMaintenance #

DEAL ALERT ‼️ OK, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to say this is an important post, but it may not be important for everyone but next week the fall plants are being shipped into Walmart. If you would like an amazing deal on some plants, you should go check your local Walmart I do not Advertise for Walmart. I do not work at Walmart. I don’t even know anyone that works at Walmart that being said when I talked to the district greenhouse manager today that happened to be at our local Walmart she must’ve really liked this tree smokin hippie! Everything I touched was marked down… literally, I came home with 13 new plants for a fraction of the cost.. thank you Stephanie at Morehead city Walmart !  2 Stanley plums that are every bit of 10 foot, $10 2 flowering Japanese Yoshino cherries 6-7ft, $10 2 Bloodgood Japanese maple 4-5ft “double trunks” design,$15 2 Twisted trunk hybiscus, $5 4 white hibiscus $10 yes, they are Rose of Sharon’s. Yes, Rose Sharon is the coldest Hardy hibiscus there is. 👌🏽& yes you should go get a few 🫶🏽 1 Shadow Magik Crêpe Myrtle that’s dark purple foliage with bright and dark red blooms $10 less then $150 spent 🤯🥴 let me not forget to mention the plastic whiskey barrels that they have from Better Homes & Gardens that are normally $10 each I got 6 $24.  they were sold out of the medium ones and the large ones were not on sale.
