Good morning everyone. Light drizzle this morning in West Central Florida. I’d like to know if anybody can help me identify this plant. There’s a huge wall of it that growing on my property. It is growing where a tree once fell. At first, I thought it was an invasive kudzu plant . However, on the Internet it shows that kutzu has smooth leaves. Obviously this plant does not. The plant identification apps I’ve tried call it muscadine grape. I have my doubts about that one. Also muscadine grape is a cultivated grape here in Florida. Hello everyone , here are two Bald Cypress trees I found while going through some of my old Facebook posts. I took these photos a long time ago with my old 35 mm film camera. This is along the Withlacoochee River just south of the Silver Lake recreation area on the Florida Trail. These trees, when they get older,grow into many very weird shapes and forms. I think this one is one of the weirder ones that I took. OMG!! They are rooting!! I never done this before, can someone help guide me? I want to make a plant and give it to my cousin.. and I forgot which leaves these little ones are from! I'll see once they grow up. I never watered them because someone told me not to do I left it be. When should I water them and change them into a bigger pot? Good morning everyone. Thank you for answering my question about the  oleander aphids .Yesterday morning when I went outside to check on my garden, I found 100s of seeds sprouting for my butterfly garden. It was amazing how quickly they sprouted. I already have native milkweed, Florida Paintbrush, Firespike, Blanket plants, scarlet that are established and scarlet sage. They are difficult to eradicate in one go. How to prevent and spot Start by quarantining any new plants you bring into your home. Carefully inspect your new plant babies and wipe down their leaves. After new plants are acclimated to your home make sure to scan them regularly for pests. Check for webbing or cottony masses on the underside of the leaves. Nipping them in the bud Most pests can be eradicated using a mixture of water, neem oil, and dish soap. If you're using neem oil, be sure to apply it late in the day, as direct sunlight can burn an oil-treated leaf. 1) Spider mites and mealybugs: Prune infested sections, then wipe down leaves 2) Fungus gnats: Use dual-sided yellow sticky traps to catch these flying buggers Larger bugs like spiders and ladybugs are your friends and often help keep other pests under control. Good morning everyone. Here’s a photo of my impending butterfly garden. It’s all native Florida plants. The plants in the foreground are plants I bought at the local Master Garden nursery. (tickseed, white and pink milkweed, blanket flowers, porter weed, chaste trees, and Florida paintbrush.) Towards the back of the photo are seeds that I put in a week ago. Growth is just goin crazy right now. I know it must be close to root bound. Not the best pics either really but that much variegation had me staggering lol no fruit or blooms currently it’s in growth phase. Pulled fruit last month variegated pink lemon on left Persian lime on right. had to show the fruits because the colors you can see the stripes a lot more before it’s not fully ripe and starts turning yellow definitely puts on a show I really enjoy this plant 🪴  #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #variegatedplants #Citrus

Hello plant peoples! 🪴🌺😁 I mentioned my Birkin several months ago, the new leaves would start turning brown just as they started opening. Well, I have tried everything I can think of, nothing has stopped it! The older leaves are beautiful and having no issues at all but EVERY SINGLE NEW LEAF starts well it looks like it’s rotting to be honest- here is a pic of a couple I just clipped off. I don’t know what to do. Any ideas are welcome! I have a baby Pink Birkin that is doing great right now and I don’t want it to have the same issue. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on the matter! Here are some pics - the first one I took to show how many have turned brown one after the other, u can see the empty stalk!
