Good morning everyone. I hope you and your plants are blooming well. I just thought I would take a photo of some live oak trees that are growing out front and share it here. As usual I got up at dawn and did much of my garden/yard work before the blistering Florida heat kicked in. Good morning! Question for all of my #HoyaHeads #TheWateringHole folks and others who are hoya obsessed! 🤩 Many of you remember my plant mail heuschkeliana variegated disaster (long story short, mail person set it behind my car and my husband ran over it. I had to start it all from cuttings again.) The cuttings are rooting and beginning to send out new leaves , but they’re completely white! I’m not quite sure what to do about it. Any tips? Three new plant rescues from the Lowe’s “Dead and Dying” clearance cart!! I’m so excited. I already have a philodendron billietiae and a scindapsus silver splash but these two new additions are gorgeous. Plant mystery solved! 🌱✨ I bought this plant at Lowe’s labeled as an Orange Ginger Torch, so for months I cared for it thinking that’s what it was. Sadly, it didn’t survive a winter freeze. Fast forward a few months… I noticed the forgotten pot had left me a surprise: a few rhizomes! (Yes, I accidentally ignored the pot for months. 😅) I planted them, and before long they started pushing out the most gorgeous leaves. After way too much research, I finally figured out its true identity: Banrai Red Curcuma! Now it’s happier than ever, growing beautifully, and I’m honestly so excited to watch it keep thriving. Hello everyone, I just had this person attempt to scam me and I know I’m not the only one on Greg to encounter this person. It says it’s “for real”, but it has no plants on its page. It is accumulating points on Greg by just pasting the same scams and posting them on other people‘s pages. In addition notice the foul mouthed abbreviations on its post. Beware of this scam. If I may suggest don’t engage this “person”. If you respond, then they know they have somebody that will respond and will pass your name around. Just wanted to share some happy plants, making me a happy plant mom. My Krinkle Hoya blooming with its second blooms this summer. My Hoya burtonaie with its first peduncle getting ready to bloom and growing another peduncle. The last Hoya was an estate sale find that was in terrible shape when I got it in Nov. swimming in water, terrible root rot, I hoped to save it. Had to repot it yesterday because it’s grown a pile of new roots and new growth.
