Welcome to my NEW #AngelWingBegonia corner! 😇🪽🌱 I’m forever deciding where to put my cane #Begonia s and this is my latest vignette (ooo la la!) #TheWateringHole Happy Mothers Day everyone! Mothers, caregivers, helpers, and plant parents alike 🥰 Spring is springing all over in my area and I’m SO wonderfully distracted by my indoor plants 🪴, my outdoor plants ☀️, plants I want but don’t have (the list is LONG), plants I don’t have and don’t want (creeping bellflower, bindweed…)…ALL.THE.PLANTS!!! Some updates from my little corner of the world: ❤️ My daughter is going to help me plant some more Sedum Angelina today (I love its all-year color and want to line our paver path with it). Always tinkering… 🍓 My hubby plans to work on the “strawberry tower” today. And if something else grabs his attention instead, I got some pots from a neighbor as a back up 😉 🐝 The bees are LOVING our crab apple blooms right now and it ALMOST makes the loads of “inconsequential” fruit on the ground in the fall worth it 😂 🍀 We made a second attempt at overseeding our front yard with clover and (drum roll please) WE HAVE SPROUTS!!! 🌱 😎 Not to be forgotten the backyard clover is looking fab and showing the front yard how it’s done 🙌 What’s happening in your oasis this weekend??? #debbiedo

Potted up all my late winter cuttings so that they’ll be well-established in time for the craft sale in July! ☀️ After giving a few to my students, there should be about 75 left to sell 🪴 My first try at “mass” propagation (kind of a small “mass” 😂) I’m not sure I’ll do it again, but it has been pretty fun. I was thinking of throwing pots to sell them in, but 75 sounds like way too many to me 😳 So I’m thinking about sewing some bags or something quicker to put them in. UPDATE: I totally went back and bought it 😂 I’d just like to share some proof of my will power… Yesterday I was at the nursery getting nasturtiums to plant with my tomatoes. Their ceilings were COVERED with incredible hanging baskets, all for $49.95. Mixed in among the flower baskets were several of these GINORMOUS BURRO’S TAIL baskets. I’m trying a TOMATO TOWER! 😁 This is a spot where I’m smothering some bindweed with weed barrier.
