Time for the children to go out and play! Now that the weather looks like it’s going to be staying in the 60s 70s and 80s. I’ve been loading my greenhouses inside my greenhouse with plants that have so far managed to survive. Leaving pretty much only my newbies inside. Look what I got! You were right it’s a really cool book. Lots of good information. I’m not sure I want to do decorating with succulents, but who knows. I might be taking a pottery class so I could make some terra-cotta pots in the future. MY EXPERIENCE, PLANTING SUCCULENT SEEDS: The guide said to soak the seeds for 24 hours then moisten the soil and place the seeds one by one on top of the soil with a toothpick. Well, in 24 hours the seeds had formed a gooey mucus slime around themselves and a toothpick could not separate one seed from the other. So I rigged a syringe so that I could suck up the glob of seeds with some water surrounding them and spewed the ooze onto the top of the soil. Eventually, the seeds at the bottom of the cup could be sucked up without the goo. So I was able eventually to spread the seeds out a little bit although as you can see, I have way too many seeds in each section. I popped the lid on top of the tray and we’ll wait until tomorrow to see what it all looks like . They say that succulent seeds don’t easily germinate so perhaps I don’t have too many seeds in there. Actually, I know I have way too many seeds in there, but tomorrow when things are not quite so gooey maybe I can pull some of them out. If any of you have any experience in this, let me know where I went wrong. I think I really wasn’t supposed to soak the seeds overnight because some instructions say to soak them some instructions they don’t soak them. Hi! In 3 months my String of Hearts has just taken off. I’m very proud of this little plant and would hate for things to go downhill. How will I know when to repot? There is so much plant and very little pot! Thank you!

Certified #proplifter ✅ String of Hearts and two Alocasia corms. From some variety called 'Nairobi Night' or smt. How long can i keep her in water? I think shed look cute in a tiny glass bowl. She seems very happy in water and is really growing fast
