What an amazing day! Received the prize for #SpringIntoSummer from #GregTeam and #PlantProper, and the plants are spectacular! Thank you for organizing the contest, and I am all smiles right now 😃 I have ordered over 100 plants online, and this may be the best packaging I have experienced. There is zero mechanical damage from shipping. The soil is not bone dry nor dripping wet (I have received plants with severe root rot from over watered plants). The packaging was also easy to open, and I have damaged plants in the past while trying to deal with difficult-to-remove packaging. Thanks for the awesome packaging @JCPlantProper! The plants look healthy and strong. Took them outside for a shower and a rinse, then placed them in a temporary location before I move them to a better location later. Katherine: #StromantheSanguinea As promised, this is Katherine, the twin #calathea I rescued from an outdoor crispy lifestyle. She was the worst off and she’s been through a lot. She lost almost 90% of her foliage and it’s been a journey oc growing new leaves only to trim off ones that I kept to give her a better chance of survival. She was down to looking like she had a foot in the 🪦to looking pretty and vibrant today. Here’s Katherine today. My others aren’t so let’s hope she’ll behave and play nice like the others. Had my calathea for a couple weeks now and she is probably one of the prettiest plants I own!!! Shes thriving and quite easy too look after , she tolerates low light and I tend to bottom water her. 🧮 Plant Math <$1 plant = free plant! I couldn't resist these Big Box Store rescues for $0.99 each (the pots in the photo were free). From what I can tell they were upset by their living conditions, not pests.
