I wanted to share a watering tip I learned from PlantswithKrystal over on YouTube!! As great as the Greg app is, don’t strictly follow its watering schedule unless you’re positive it works for your plant. Instead: take a skewer, chopstick, or whatever long thin tool you have and gently insert it into the soil. This allows you to check the soil moisture easily, if the soil sticks then it’s moist, if it comes out clean it’s likely your soil is dry. Just research what your plant requires in terms of soil moisture (some plants need watering once the top 2 inches of soil is dry, some prefer completely drying out before watering, it depends on the plant) and use this method to check your soil moisture and water accordingly! #TipsandTricks #WateringHacks #PlantsMakePeopleHappy 9 7 Comments
