It finally happened 馃ぉ after 2 years and predicted, blasting buds, I got Hoya blooms. OMG they're stunningly beautiful so dainty and look like porcelain. My H. Krohniana splash, such a tiny plant have me such gorgeous blooms little white fluffy blooms. 馃グ My H. Spring is coming, new growth is happening and those climbing plants will need staking. I know a lot of us live on fairly tight budgets, so anything that helps save 馃獧 and recycles is a good thing. 馃 Recycling your stockings/pantyhose, ladies, share them with your guys. 馃Е Cut into strips stockings make great ties to attach plants to poles etc. The stretchiness of the stocking makes it safe and pliable as a tie and won't damage your plant. Patience pays! Last year I propped a ZZ cutting, she had great rhizomes when I potted her up. The stems and leaves died, but I didn't give up because I knew those rhizomes under the soil were healthy. I continued care and she did produce one shoot, then she just sat there for months. Surprise! My patience paid off, and I now have another little shoot. A little sunshine this morning 馃尀 in my otherwise difficult times over the last few months. Sometimes it seems Murphy's law hangs over me like a dark cloud, especially over the last few months. Everytime I think everything's ok, I get knocked down again, this time a loss of one third of my income which has been devastating. But I'm a survivor and God will provide. He's helped me this far 馃憤 I'm so grateful to the #gregteam for this amazing app helping me each day to focus on my plants #plantssavedmymentalhealth I may not post much but I do read through everyone's posts! My beautiful Hoya Sunrise has opened up her buds and is blooming in all her glory. #newplant So I wanted to bless and give back to someone who has become a friend and been incredibly kind to me.
