I absolutely know I’m going to forget to post in the morning, so I’m getting it in early for #FreshLeafFriday (are those still a thing? I’ve been so out of the loop) 🪴 Without further ado: new leaves (first one open; second one still furled) on my burgundy #Ficus. These are the first new leaves in a LONG time—it did not get enough light in that tiny apartment I just left! Now it has front row seats to the sunrise every morning 🌅 Then, we have my rehabilitated variegated #StringOfPearls, which a friend gave to me in a sad, shriveled little vine with one lonely root. Now look at it go! 😊 Bonus pics to use all 5 spaces (why not?): watered all my growing babies and #Propagation s this morning. I love these cute 1” clear plastic pots! They are perfect for propagating! And a new #PlantShelfie in my bedroom! 💗🌿 Happy pre-Friday, LOL #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #FicusGang #PlantTherapy #babevila #PLANTMAFIA #PlantCorner #GregGang 10 4 Comments @Nature_freak9 · 3w So a while back I took some cuttings from my pothos with the intent of planting the propagated cuttings back into the original plant to make it fuller… however in the time the cuttings were rooting in water, the original pothos just naturally made itself fuller and less sparse 😅 so now I have these cuttings that I’m probably going to plant into a new pot… free plant I guess lol! #GoldenPothos #Pothos #Propagation #Cuttings 6 9 Comments @newplantgirlies · 3d tips are welcome!! 5 6 Comments @BrightOkra92 · 1w Any tips for propagating a stretched out monstera? 2 2 Comments @ITalk2Plants · 3d My yucca got a massive scale infestation last year. I neemed him, covered him in DE, and put him in the basement away from the rest of the plants. I decided to make him a "mother tree" I cut out the dead. Put prop balls on each limb and took a bunch of chonks, covered them in cinnamon, and stuck in the ground. It's been a couple weeks and I'm seeing new growth on a chonk and the main tree 😍🥳 #yucca #propagation #propball 1 1 Comments @Nature_freak9 · 2w Should I take a cutting from my English Ivy??? 1 7 Comments @Nature_freak9 · 2w So there’s one plant I don’t have logged in and that’s because it’s a weird Frankenstein pot that belonged to my dad… it’s like some sort of dracaena with heart leaf philodendron. I still care for it because no one else will but Yeahh LOL. Anyways I took some cuttings of the philodendron and I’m going to try to propagate it, it’s j lit different than what I’m used to with propagating pothos, especially since heartleaf philodendron is much smaller and more dainty 😅. hopefully one day I get a beautiful philodendron plant from this! (The stems of the cuttings are tiny since the original plant has a ton of leaves with little spacing in between lol) #HeartleafPhilodendron #Philodendron #Propagation #Cuttings #PlantsMakePeopleHappy 1 5 Comments
