I think my favorite part of being a #plantparent is getting plants when they’re really young and really watching them mature and grow🪴💚 That is my absolute favorite part. That’s why I bought all of my plants or most of my plants as plugs and then let them grow from there. #fungalinfection and #seasonalshock unalived my all but 15 #plants in my garden 😭 BUT You can’t keep an aspiring green thumb down 👍🏾🪴Ok! Period so I’m back in full effect!! This year I’m probably not going to go dum overboard in the doubles and number of plants total. I don’t want to exceed 50, but I’m already about to hit 35…soooo we’ll see 😅 What I do know is I’ll be paying ridiculously close attention to the health of my #plantbabies. #PolkaDotPlant “The Polka Dot Experiments” lol so I am fully in love with polka dot plants and have soooo many and I want more! I’ve been experimenting with light & water. I’ve found the pink/rose & white loooove red light. The brighter and closer, the better. 6in (15.24cm) has been ideal to get the beautiful pink hues. The red prefers bright, white light and further away, 10-13in (25.4-33.02cm). It’s sad watching some of my pink & red lose their color but it’s all in the name of science and #plantucation #Plerd I’ll post pictures with with results in a few weeks when everyone is fully matured.

I bought more plants #Croton #DumbCane & #quadricolortradescantia clippings 😅 I cannot wait to add all this color to my #greencorner!! And my neighborhood (who inspired me to start my #indoorgarden) gave me two tomato plants! I loooove me some green tomatoes so I’m uber excited!
