Just wanting to show off lol- been wanting a Ruby Ficus forever, and it finally got here today! Was worried b/cuz it took 10 days to get here- dang USPS…and it’s hot- 90’s. My Green Congo Nuclear has its new home. Super stoked! I love the variagation on this plant and it has a yellow sport leaf with white variagation on it! I don't think you can see it well from the pic but the white splotches are there. And a half moon leaf beside it. Ted was so convinced that we were making coffee when I brought out one of our coffee trees; this is a propagation dwarf coffee plant for a friend. But Ted loves to help me make the coffee. He samples all the sweet stuff and sometimes things he gets a bean and spits it out. But Teddy loves to help. Good Evening, I love coming home to things like this- so I thought I’d share. Major progress on the Mint monstera. I’m 2 treatments into the Captain Jacks copper fungicide treatment and it seems to be working great. I was very unimpressed with the state of the this plant , but now I am happy. Omg 🙈 my family got home at 3 a.m. this morning, and my niece was calling me at 9 a.m. to come get her so she could come steal my plants. 😂✨ She’s too cute! 🥰 Anyway, had to share my buddies I’ve been working on the last couple of days. It’s a little wild, but I was out working, and then all of a sudden they changed, and it was hailing. Hey everyone! I know this is a long shot, but there's a nursery called San Marcos Growers in Santa Barbara, CA that recently shut down their operations. They're still selling off remaining inventory, including a Tradescantia sillamontana variety called "Huasteca Canyon" they originally collected in the wild in Mexico. And no one else on the planet seems to have it! They're no longer shipping plants, so they can only be picked up in person. So if anyone lives in that area who would be willing to help me out with this, please let me know! I'd of course send you all necessary funds and shipping costs, and also reimburse you for your time.
